Hey Dennis! I know I've been away a while... Sorry, ran into hard financial times, things are OK, just very busy with the kids and working a little extra. How are things going with you? I hope all is well. How's the project going/gone?

Like a Thief in the night

by DeeDubya on 03-20-2009 at 03:07 PM
In March three years ago I had a little run-in with an unsuspected condition that can happen to anyone. I thought I had contracted a stomach virus. A not too bad stomach ache the first day. Second day I had some fever and chills. Third day I left work to go home feeling pretty bad. Constant pain. Late that night I found that I could no longer pee, which made the pain even worse. A trip to the ER and an MRI showed a perforated appendix and peritonitis had set in. My time was severely limited. The

Now with the time change there is only about an hour of daylight left when I get home from the office. Most evenings I manage to select a cigar, grab a drink (usually a beer), kick back and wind down.
