Watched the 3 part mini-series on History with my wife. Awesome show, gritty, sad and well acted. It's not Tombstone but it is one of the better western era shows I have ever seen. I would really suggest giving it a shot.

My husband wanted me to watch it with him I was too busy. When I went to ask him a question during one of the shows he said no talking until this is over. So it must of been good for he can normally multitask between TV and talking.
I recorded all of them but have only watched the first one so far. I thought it was really good and can't wait to watch the rest.
I've watched most of the series, but wasn't able to sit through each episode in it's entirety. What I've seen I've liked.
A male that can multitask? Not possible! ;-)
I liked it very much. That said, I usually prefer my documentaries and fictional stories separated. A few too many embellishments and falsehoods for my liking. If it was simply a mini series I would have given it 4 stars out 5. Because they touted it as historical I give it 3. Certainly worth watching for entertainment purposes though. Rough times and even rougher people back then. We owe them a lot.
