I'd also like to know what lens. Were these shot with a lighting setup, or just available light? Photography is a hobby of mine, but I've never gotten into macro stuff.
Welcome!
Can I ask why you decided to jump into this hobby? I know for me, it was just on a very random whim.
The poor guy has no idea what is going on. How could you expect him to?
-Go to a real cigar store and talk to the owner. No gas station brands, no inhaling, no "glass top boxes." They are just...
LAME! :smiley38:
I don't understand all the negativity for the Macanudo brand. Could someone explain it to me? I've had one, it wasn't the absolute best smoke of my life but it was just fine, seemed like a very well...
Sorry for the double post, but whats the deal. Are winners going to be announced?
C'mon Victor Sinclair!
Thats a tragedy, very sorry man.
The ash looks good, longer than any of my best. I find that whenever I try to get a long ash it ends up in my lap so I've started to make sure to knock if off...
Doesn't look like it... Hopefully they will tomorrow.
Ooooh :smiley1:, a Partagas Black label. Still probably one of my favorite cigars. Have you smoked one?
Nice collection btw.

Check out the videos on Cigar Aficionado and Cigar.com for some details on how to cut, light and enjoy a cigar. It will be strait forward after the first time. If you are not keeping that cigar...
Welcome!
I did the sampler trade a few months ago, its fantastic. All the guys doing it are extremely knowledgeable and generous. You will get some great smokes you would have never thought to try....
Can I assume each member only gets one photo submission?
25 a week thats insane. I hate to be "that guy" but maybe you should cut it down. That just sounds like a really expensive habit...25 a week.
Just smoked a Macanudo Hampton Court Maduro. First cigar in 2.5 weeks, wanted something more mild than what I usually smoke so as not to shock my system. It had fantastic burn quality and draw. Taste...
Wow, that is absolute DEALS. I already have 4 in the humidor, not sure I need 10 more. These puppies are strong, but not too special in the taste department IMHO.
Arganese CL3
I use beads, but my humidor got to 62% within a few hours but then took about a week or two to finally stabilize at 65%.
Montecristo #3
yummy yum yum
Not sure I can remember exactly. I think the first cigar I tasted was a machine made cuban, the first cigar I smoked completely was a Backwoods and the first premium I smoked was a Punch. Its all...
Welcome!
You can't actually taste those "flavors," just subtle hints in the cigar that remind you of those flavors. I have always thought of it as a silly way of describing a cigar, but it sure sounds...
Welcome from WA!
The Partagas Black Label is my absolute favorite cigar to date, so I guess we have similar tastes. I always keep a few in my humidor, I think I have 5 in there total right now,...
Welcome welcome welcome!
