We consumed ours at the BN Commander's Social. I think the barrel definitely took some of the edge off, but there is still a strong flavor of corn. Maybe if we let a batch age till AT next...

Well pleased with the Romeo y Julieta's we smoked last night. We had Jameson's (neat) with them. Tonight after chow, we are going to expirement with the Island Collection from American Western Cigar....
We have a keg aging in the barracks of pure corn. The quality of the barrels left a little to be desired, but at least they don't leak. We'll keep you posted on the taste........3126
3125Well it is slim pickin's at the PX when comes to cigars! We smoked some Shrapnels this morning and it looks like I'll have to raid my stash tonight after chow. Hmmm, I think we'll have Romeo y...
i can't find anything on the brand. sorry...
Interesting name you have there?....You'll learn that a lot of the cigars on deployments were fake. Sad, but true. The best way to get Cubans is from troops on the KFOR missions and make sure they...
I can't testify as to how they were stored because I didn't make the run into town to pick them up. It would make sense, because you also have to be careful with the cigars you get at the PX because...
We ended up with a box of Brick House cigars. I really think we should have tried a few before buying so many. They are not that well constructed and the draw is constricted. There is a distinct...
I'm at Camp Shelby and I am very low on cigars. The PX has a limited selection of La Unica and Cuestra Rey. I'm looking for recommendations. My only other choice is Quroms and I won't stoop to that...
I missed this thread. Can I still donate? Ya'll were really great to my troops in Iraq & I want to return the favor
Like I have admitted, I don't have a lot of experience compared to ya'll. My fav cigar is the CAO Gold. Hopefully my palate will develop someday
I'm going to show my ignorance (again), but I really don't think Cubans are that great. I think it is the idea of the forbidden fruit for smokers in the US.
Belmondo Vintage Reserva (it was a gift) and sipping Ciroc Peach. Yes, I know it sounds fruitty
Truthfully, I didn't enjoy the Blondies. We had a get together at lunch and one of my officers brought them to share. They were too sweet and didn't even taste like a cigar.
There is no hope for me! I have committed a mortal sin. We smoked Acid Blondies today. I guess I will be banished to puff.com :smiley19:
Welcome from Mississippi
I've smoked several Cubans and I'm not overly impressed with them. I think the appeal here is the "forbidden fruit" aspect.
We're smoking Plantation Reserves from the Cigar Factory in New Orleans2456
Please forgive me. I smoked CAO Gold Honeys and liked them. I am slipping towards the dark side (flavored cigars). Does anyone know how I can redeem myself?
Guys I'm back after a long absence. I've been laid up with Addison's Disease. I had a full blown crisis with it & almost passed from the resulting infections. The crux was an undiagnosed pituatary...
Are you feeling better? Sounds like some pretty serious health issues.
I didn't think goat fucker was a negative comment. Hey don't knock till you tried it
Hey pard. Welcome from Mississippi
Hope everything turns out ok in the follow-ups. Praying you don't need surgery.
Have you tried a Clint? It's a good small cigar that has just a hint of sweetness. It's really popular with new smokers
