Thread: Your All-Time Favorite Cigar....

  1. Default Your All-Time Favorite Cigar....

    Hey All;

I just thought I'd through a little hypothetical at you all:

You are stranded on a beautiful Island somewhere in the Pacific with everything you need to survive. The catch is that you can only have one specific type of Cigar to Smoke for the rest of your life. Just one specific production run from one Brand. What would it be? (I guess this is just another way of asking what your favorite cigar is, but this way is more colourful.)

I look forward to your reply.

The cheepst, shittiest, convence store cigar I could find. It would give me the willpower to build a boat and get the hell back to civilization.

Although I've only been smoking for two years, I'd have to say the Carlos Torano Signature Torpedo.

    Padron 1926.

If you ask me this question next week, the answer will probably be different. I have way too many "favorites" to give an answer to this question. If I smoke one cigar exclusively, I'll get sick of it by about the 5th one. I don't think I've smoked the same cigar twice in a row in the last five years.

    My "favorites" are:

    Non-Cuban
    Padron 1926
    Aņejo
    Opus X
    AF Untold Story
    Davidoff Millennium
    Carlos Torano Exodus 1959
    Oliva "O" Bold

    Cuban
    Saint Luis Rey
    San Cristobal de la Habana
    Vegas Robaina
    Ramon Allones
    Rafael Gonzales
    Quai d'Orsay
    Quintero
    Punch
    H. Upmann
    Sancho Panza
    TBSCigars - "On Holiday"

    Default interesting..

I definately started this same exact thread a few months back haha...

I would have to second the Cohiba Siglo VI. I dont think I could ever get bored of that cigar.

El Rey Del Mundo Maduro Largo. It includes toilet tissue with every cigar. Which is quite handy when stranded.

This is a really hard question.

My all-time favorite cigar that I wish I could smoke everyday, would be the Opus X Black Banded from the DVD Set.

My favorite everyday smoke is anything DCM.

Gurhka Dos Capas - My Fav. Nope, just the longest one I have. And that will keep me from smoking banana leaves the longest.

So far I think it's been the Avo Maduro...they're fantastic...smooth, coffeeish, with a hint of sweetness...incredible taste...

Boy that is a hard one. But I'd have to say my Gran Cubita SMS perfecto.

Monte #2, the nice thing with a piramide is that it is very versatle and the way that you cut it goes a long way to defining the smoke.
Also the fact that the smoke plume would be easily seen from miles away.
    Also a damn fine cigar.
I thought it was a tampon joke!

Impossible to answer, methinks. The Cuban Monte #2 sure isn't a bad answer, though.

The single best cigar I've ever had was actually a Davidoff Millenium Series Churchill. Had it on the day I got engaged. But I think the reason it was so damn good was that it had sat in my humidor for several years (at $20+ a stick, I decided to save them for something a little more special than a beer in the back yard).

I wouldn't mind a lifetime supply of those. Then again, I almost never smoke the same thing twice in a row .... so your hypothetical would be torture
