Just finished smoking a R4 by Rocky Patel. I have come to like many Rocky Patel Cigars, and this one was no diffrent. At first glance the R4 (I had the Maduro torpedo), looks very similar to the Edge, just a tad bit smaller. For torpedos, I usually perfer a V-cut. After cutting the R4 with the V I noticed the draw was very tight. I took out the trusty Xikar, and cut a bit more off. Draw was alot looser but not perfect. Light up the cigar and found that it not only looked but also tasted similar to the Edge. I still dont have a refined palate like most of you to pick out all the small tastes, but the cigar was pretty good. After the first inch or so I began having some bad burn problems and had to touch it up a few times. Halfway through the burn evened itself out. Throught out the cigar the draw was still somewhat tight. Overall I liked the cigar, especially for the price, and would recomend trying it if you like the Edge, or other RP cigars.
