    Default Perdomo Habano Robusto

I smoked this cigar last night and it was so awful I needed to post it and see if you all had the same experience. I enjoy finding cigars that are around $5 that I like smoking because I am somewhat budget concious. I love the more expensive smokes, but can't really smoke too many of them. So after a trip to my local B&M I bought a few $5 smokes. I smoked this cigar last night and it was terrible. The draw was nice and the burn was very even, but the flavors reminded me of fruit loops. I felt like every time I took a puff I was eating a bowl of fruity cereal. I would not recomend this cigar to anyone. Figured I would give everyone a heads up.

On a side note, I smoked a Rocky Patel Decade Churchill and it was phenomenal.

These, along with the Lot 23 maduro and ESV, are one of my favorite Perdomo cigars.

I'm not a huge Perdomo fan but I enjoy a couple, this one among them. Sorry that you didn't enjoy it, but that's part of the process, you never know unless you try.

Fruit Loops would turn me off too. Fruity Pebbles on the other hand.......

What if one doesn't have hair? Can we add beards to this?

The Lot 23's have become one of my everyday favorites. I find a better consistancy in Puros than in blends.

What is a haircut? I vaguely remember a hair stylist named Linda but can't seem to remember anything about my hair.

I like the corojo, but the maduro is only so-so for me (but I'm not a maduro fan anyway) and the CT is just wrong because the binder and filler overpowers and destroys the wrapper flavor.

I've tried most, if not all, of Perdomo's label. The La Tradicion sun grown is good, a silvio is good if you get a aged one and have a lot of time to reflect on the smoke\ and reflect you need to because its to subtle a smoke. Also, its way overpriced no matter how you slice it.

The old estate selection is pretty good and the even older original white label la tradicion are money but good luck finding either of those.

I like most of these listed in this thread - the one with the CT wrapper enough to buy a box - it's my fav right now. Not the RP's though.

    Default Thanks

Thanks guys for all of the input. I agree with all of you about the different taste buds. I definitely am not going to rule out all Perdomo's because I have been wanting to try the Lot 23's.
