Thread: Hello CigarSmokers!

  1. Default Hello CigarSmokers!

Greetings CigarSmokers, I want to take this opportunity to introduce you to Jameson Cigar Co. and our new line of cigars. I'd love to get involved in the forum and get our smokes in your hands! Maybe we could do a box pass, suggestions are welcome. Looking forward to your questions/comments.

Welcome to the forum. I'd suggest just going with something more simple than a box pass, just a straight up sampler; send out to a few members who could provide reviews and comments. Make sure if you look to do any official advertising (which this is not) you clear it with the Forum's owner Hex first (I'm sure you already know this).

Welcome to the site - I was introduced to your company via another forum, and I'm glad you chose to make your presence known here. Let us know if you have a few blends you'd like to be reviewed.

I've seen a lot advertised about your cigars. I wouldn't turn down an opportunity to smoke one of your robustos!

But seriously, welcome! Are you a new cigar company? Why did you decide to get into the business? How did you get into making your own line? These kinds of things intrigue me.

    Welcome to Cigarsmokers from NJ.

What BigMacFU says is the best course of action if you want to get some of your cigars out there to members on this board.

If you want to get in involved in the community more then just as a vendor then check out Cigar Draft V in The Exchange. Great way for new members to get involved.

Great suggestion! Any ideas on how to pick the members to receive samplers? I got in touch with Hex before posting and he encouraged me to participate.

We are a new cigar company. I decided to get into the business for one reason: I am passionate about cigars, simple as that. I got into making my own line after working with Luis Sanchez of La Tradicion Cubana. Luis is also passionate about what he does and makes some truly fantastic smokes. We have teamed up to make the current blend and have some more projects in the works.

To everyone else, thank you for welcoming me and I hope to see you around CigarSmokers.

Go to the review part of the board and look to see who is active there? Then pick out how many you want and contact them and send away.

I figured you had, you seem like you know what your doing from over on CPass. As for how to pick members, Diesel had a good suggestion. I know DeeDubya does a lot of reviews and they're pretty extensive. I'm sure ChefChris could also provide help in this area. I'd love to help out, but to be honest, I don't smoke often enough to get back to you within a week of receiving a sampler.

Good luck with the business, I hope it goes well and stick around, a great bunch of guys here.

I'd be glad to do a review. You can see my reviews in the review forum.

    Welcome from MT.

KC and Deedub have a nice review thread going, always enjoyable and very knowledgeable.

I'd also suggest SLCraiders. James, if I recall correctly nailed not one, but two, cigars in the "Review These" thread.

Heyyyy..............this guy sells cigars in a "Short Torpedo" style! Very interesting, as the Torp is my favorite style, but tends to be too much to smoke in a short sitting. My cigar time tends to be limited these days, but with the advent of warmer weather, I'm hoping to pick it up a bit.

Regardless, it's a very interesting size, and a very reasonable price. I eagerly await a review!

I'll contact some of the names you guys mentioned and send out a couple sticks for review. To open it up a bit, the first 5 members who pm me their address and t-shirt size will get a little package
