They're still one of the best bands around.
Take a listen to Black Gives Way to Blue, it's the first album without Layne
The new one is The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here

Ha! I like them too. I don't think you can really classify them though CC, seeing as how every album seems to be different. I don't know if they haven't found their groove, or just (more likely) can't be held down to any particular genre.

That is true. Each album is quite a bit different than the others.

If you want a great new slower kinda folky album, try the new Beck. Not like the Beck I remember. It's great to relax to.

Yeah, I've always liked Beck. I have several albums on vinyl, including that one.

I'm pretty sure CC likes classical too. I know he posted a video here with some guys wearing powdered wigs a while back. :)

Today I am listening to The Briggs "This is L.A." off of their 2008 CD "Come All You Madmen" in honor of the:

Los Angeles Kings - Stanley Cup Champions 2014

    TBSCigars - "On Holiday"
Grammar - It's the difference between knowing your crap and knowing you're crap.

Jack White, super bizarre dude, but really good at music. This show is unreal good. Start it at 1:20, it starts with them doing two songs in rehearsal for the show, then the actual show.

Walk off the Earth - A rather talented Canadian group. This first video is an original song that's getting a lot of air play here:

I first noticed them when a friend sent me a link to this video of a cover they did:

I ran into the following satire of the above cover song and found it rather funny so I'm including it:

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll.
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.
