    Default Padron 1926 ~ #9 Maduro

    coventrycat86's Review

Smoke Padron 1926 ~ #9 Maduro (Thanks EGQ for this extra oppourtunity!)
    Drink(s): Yuengling Porter
Tunes: Pink Floyd ~ Meddle; Animals

    Wrapper: Maduro
    Draw: Light throughout
Burn: Razor sharp, even with small cone throughout.
Misc: 90+ minutes Nose exhale exhibits heavy burn.

Pre-light: Box press. Very light tiny speckles on wrapper. Coloroado shade maduro. Faint pepper / tobacco taste on pre-light. Matchlight. Very spicey on startup.

1st 3rd: Peppery, medium to full body. Very light draw. Mellows out quick. Moves to a nice woodsy, oily taste with hints of cocoa. Burns pretty quick even with moderate down time.

Ash: Crisp white with tiny white ash bubbles. Solid out to 1"

2nd 3rd: Mellow. Same flavors as 1st 3rd. Very good. Woodsy most dominant. Oily hints as well as slight cocoa. Porter is an excellent compiment as it brings out the flavors.

3rd 3rd: More of the same, that being AWESOME! Into the last lap

Had to pipe this one to the bitter, bitter end!

Overall impression: Classic. Only complaint would be price, and duration. Score: 95+++

It's the one cigar that I have gifted over the years that everyone who smoked it loved it. The only bad thing I ever read about it is it's a cigar that should be smoked within a year of buying it. It loses something sitting. Nice pics!

One of my favorite cigars. A real smooth creamy cigar.

Yuengling is Bitterville's official beer but the real reason I always have it is because I buy kegs.

    Thanks everyone for the feedback!

You've got that right Will. Just ask for "lager" in PA and Yuengling is what you'll get.
