    Default Inglourious Basterds

100% Tarantino. If you like his movies, you're gonna love this one. Brad Pitt nailed his performance, but then so did everyone else.

A moral lesson? One to make you think? Nope, probably not. But definitely entertainment worth seeing on the big screen.

Except that damned subtitled bar scene that seem to go on and on and on...

Otherwise - it was classic Tarantino!

One of my favorite exchanges in the movie...

After Lt. Aldo shoots Hermann dead (near the end of the movie), Col. Landa says,
"Are you mad? What have you done! I made a deal with your general for that mans life!"

Lt. Aldo replies, "Yeah - they made that deal, but they don't give a fuck about him, they need you."

Col. Landa, "You'll be shot for this!"

Lt. Aldo says, "Naw. I don't think so. More like I'll be chewed out. I've been chewed out before..."

I actually dont care much for tarantino's style sometimes, but this one wasnt bad at all (of course the tarantino-esque format shines through on some parts!

    Cool

I saw this in theatres, and it's one of my favorite movies ever. I love Brad Pitt's acting, and he does great in this movie. @ggiese, lol I liked that part too.

Brought this home Thursday night, and it's been spinning in the DVD player almost continuously!

Outstanding Tarantino film, with great characters. As said before, Brad Pitt played an amazing roll.

What a great movie! I loved the Bear Jew. "He went fuckin' yard on that one!" Brad Pritt was great, this role definitely elevated my opinion of his acting ability. The guy that played the Jew Hunter was great as well. You know a movie is great when it has Nazis getting scalped, blown to bits, and their balls blown off in every other scene.
    End of line.

I got this movie in my stocking this year. After reading this thread, I am pumped to watch it. I think I will dedicate all of New Years day to laying around in PJs and watching movies non-stop...

Thanks, I looked back and couldn't believe it had been almost a year since I had posted anything. I decided that was bullshit so I have been annoying everyone this morning to catch up.

I got a chance to watch it tonight. Pretty good. I don't think it was classic QT. It had it's moments for sure, but he was pushing a different direction in this one I think.
