Default Esteban Carreras 10 Anos Maduro

    Vitola: Torpedo 6.5 x 54
    Nicaraguan Puro

There was an EC event at one of the local b/m's last night, and having smoked a few of the 1961's with less than stellar results, I decided to stop by and see if anything else in there line appealed to me. I picked up a couple of the 10 anos and smoked one while I was there.

The cigar is well constructed with a very, very sharp torpedo point. It cut well and lit easily. The strength was solidly in the medium category for me, with a full and typically sweet, dark, chocolatey maduro profile.

Towards the middle of the smoke the cigar picked up a tad bit of strength but didn't quite reach the full point. Flavors of leather, earth, chocolate all mingle nicely.

This smoke is in a very competetive price range, $7-$10, so I most likely won't be picking any up in quantity though I picked up a few more to try.

I have a EC Habano resting in the humidor that I may have to try next.

    Nice review bro.

This cigar sounds interesting. I find I like alot of the nicaraguans.

I've seen those @ Silo, haven't heard much about them until now.

    Thanks for the review.

The link to the post is incorrect. Try this one http://www.cigarsmokers.com/t12223-man-o-war-toro.html

I don't think it liked the apostrophe after the "o".

    Thanks for the review.
I have tried this smoke in two different vitolas, churchill and toro.
The toro was hands down better IMHO. I really like these smokes.
