Default Rocky Patel Fusion Blue Label Toro

This review has been done before but it was short and the member included a video... I did keep going back to it and comparing though. http://www.cigarsmokers.com/threads/...y+patel+fusion

I just got this in yesterday and let it rest for awhile (very short while) couldn't resist. Since I had the day off I fired it up while having my coffee. Coffee with a little french vanilla...that and the creamy taste of the stick was pretty nice. One thing about the other review was kinda right and wrong. That member said a little over an hour smoking time...this stick took 1 hr. 40mins....I shit you not. That was the longest damn smoke I had so far.

    Pre-Light

Light was easy, very nice draw with lots of smoke and already with creamy taste.

Ash started off grey with few blotches of black, appeared tight at first but fell off at 1", tasting some nuttiness along with the cream.

Ash stayed on for 1 1/2" this time but became more flaky streaked with black. Still creamy with the nutty coming and going.

Next ash also managed 1 1/2, going in the the last 1/3 of it, I got a bit of pepper. From there on I swear I had a piece of buttered toast in my mouth. This was a very good smoke and enjoyed every minute of it.
My! What a nice ash you have!

Thanks for the review. I'm glad it sounds like you enjoyed it, after several of us peer pressured you into buying the sampler!

Ah good ol' colera. What a douchecrank.

Nice review! Sounds like it is a very nice smoke to me. Cofee certainly rocks with cigars! Roger.

Looks like a damn good smoke! Gotta love RP. Can't wait to try this one. Nice review! Is that a mini torch lighter you got back there? I think my uncle has one and it works great if I recall correctly.

Accu Prince Pocket Torch...was working just fine, but it just crapped out for some reason.

Great review. Very nice pics. Rocky Patel very seldom lets me down. A couple of his blends were so-so but most I like or love. Can't wait to try one.

Great review! I like the 1990 and 1992, so when I read this review, I had to grab one up. I thought it would be a little more spicy or peppery then it turned out to be. I tried this in the torpedo and lancero, with the torpedo being the better of the 2. I really enjoyed it and I have a couple left. Rocky Patel has not let me down yet!

Good review Memphis. Interesting how you keep the ash squared away on the side of the ash tray.

    "Buttered toast."

Mmm.... nice. Thanks for the heads-up: I think I have one of these in the humi, quietly awaiting its designated doom.

I definately agree with your review Fred. I had this one today. Big thanks to you brother! I really enjoyed it. Let me know if you ever want to do some kind of box split on this and I am in.

Please note the picture below. The ash held on really well. If you look closely, you can see the ash has a yellow greenish color to it which is the first time I have ever seen that happened. This cigar is the bomb. A must try for everyone IMHO.

Default I am a Rock Patel Whore

Great review Fred. I have to admit I am partial to RP although I have never trie this particular stick. I will definitely grab one sometime thanks to this review. Creaminess and nuttiness is always good. Thanks.

EDIT: Fukin' keboard with a sticky "y"

Glad you liked it Nelson, I'm down to only one left so the idea of a box sounds good. I'm going to start shopping around.
