Just got a fresh pound of Peter Stokkebye Luxury Navy Flake, so I've been burning that for the last two days...

    Nice stuff!

A Golden Cavendish from my local shop in my Ben Wade Freehand. Three of my pipes were gifts from my father, who got them from his father. The Ben Wade is a beast and is a great smoke. I haven't tried the Man with the Top Hat or the Meerschaum Dog, but I've smoked a Dr. Grabow pretty consistently. I pull out the Ben Wade when I sit down outside with a stiff drink and a good book.

Just some Captain Black White in my Calabash, and it isn't the tobacco that makes it good, it's the pipe. Most smokable pipe I've ever owned, and even makes the Captain Black a pleasant smoking experience.
Gotta stop hanging out here...gonna end up with PAD like everyone else.

Bought my first pipe in many years on conference. It was a 30 dollar dr. Graybows. I bought it specifically for nubbing cigars. However I could not resist picking up a few blends when I got it. I got a house blend black cavendish and a brandybuck blend. I must say they were very enjoyable! Lol I had to re-educate myself how to light and handle a pipe again... But I had good success. Both blends were easy on the pallate with no tongue burn. I am looking forward to getting more blends in the future. For now I have just an ounce of the two I got. I guess you could say that I am enjoying the relived experience of smoking a pipe again. It is great!!!

Last night I picked up two store brand of tobacco. Smoked a bowl of Half and Half, and Borkum Riff Whiskey

I also started on my pipe (out of juniper)... I have it roughed in the shape, have the hole bored and airflow connection for the stem. Gonna be a little more difficult than I anticipated. But I am excited to get it finished and try it out. When I have it completed hopefully I can post a pic of it on the forum.

Smoked a bowl of very cherry. Had a very critical fail in my pipe construction... I drilled the stem connection and split it down to the bowl. Needless to say I have to try again. However I learned some good lessons in constructing it.

Tuesday night- Sweet vanilla, 7 seas.

    last night- Vanilla Royal

All three were very nice. The 7 seas was very alluring in odor in the pouch, but very different when I smoked it. Interesting stuff.

Enjoying some Samuel gawith navy flake. Very nice flavor and my first experience rubbing out tobacco, not sure if I did it enough because it seemed a little on the chunky side. Good experience thus far!

Also had a half bowl of egg nog. Very interesting aromatic which yielded no egg nog anything ... Either taste nor aroma. But it was still a pleasant smoke.
