    Daysi,

The economy kinda sucks lately, doesn't it? You're reaching out a little, to broaden your market, no? I kinda think so. Ebay's a buyer's market right now. I know. I'm sitting on some nice motorcycle parts until I can sell them for what they're worth.

From what I read, it may be interesting to hear some of your history with cigars themselves. Too bad you're not here to contribute to the community, which is what a lot of posts have been referring to.

Bottom line is if you wanted someone on here to buy some of your prints or paintings, you should have taken a second to read around and get a feel for the place. Oh well, another failed marketing strategy...back to the drawing board. But then again, you're an artist, not a people person, and certainly not a sales person (if you're a genuine artist.)

    Ugly, fat-assed, four-eyed cunt.
She has not been fucked in ten years

(I am not being sarcastic in this post - I know, that is strange for me)

Perhaps I am just too worn out from a crazy Monday and so my compassion level is too high here, but...

I think you guys might be beating up on her a little too much. I mean, she is posting in almost the correct area (she went for "accessories", and one could say that artwork involving cigars is an accessory). I also think that she may be using an online translator to make her posts (and read ours) - so there is a slight communication issue. Her first post made me want to reach for a hammer, but realizing that she is an artist, and perhaps doesn't understand the English language enough to see how this forum works, maybe we should give her a slight pass on that. Also, let's take into consideration her age and background. It appears that she is around 50 and grew up in Cuba, which might mean that she is not all that computer savvy, and the internet might be fairly new to her (granted she has an Ebay page, but then again, so does my aunt - who thinks that myface, spacebook, and metube are "internet houses").

I don't know, maybe I just can't pick on women who are at the age of 50... reminds me too much of my mom I guess. If she were a man, or if she were in her 20's or 30's I would think differently about this. I can't stand public art - it ticks me off to no end - and that crappy scribble garbage that you see in the galleries, which any 3 year old could make is not worth the thousands that they ask for it. But I do appreciate the small town artists, who make very little money, and try hard to get their work noticed, usually to no avail.

Daysi, your artwork does look great - but I am no artist, and am easily impressed, so my opinion counts for just about nothing. If your intent here is to be a part of this forum, you need to have a friend help you with the translations and back off with the chauvinistic nonsense. If your intent is only to market your paintings, that is fine - but you need to post in the "Advertisements" section. Good luck with your artwork, your daughter looks lovely and she is lucky to have a mom like you.

    Buzz,
You should be canonized for sainthood IMHO
My last post was the result of a fine mixture of Percocet & Don Julio. Cheers

You have a good point, right half missed half . English is not my first language. How can I improve my writing? There are some excellent resources an internet world. I read english good, I don't speak frecuently because I live in miami but I try to learn it. My daugther has 17 years all and born in USA and sometimes she help me with some word or some phrases, Do you want the truth? Some times I look for the translation in AltaVista, but this traslation isn't appropiate and traslation mistakes or cloud the meaning of any part of the text, the next step is to search is look for that subject in another Link to improve it, There are just a Daysi , a woman to like cigars world and love the art. Is There a crime? I'm architect , I studied french and portugues. I only wish to surpass myself.

In relation to using this forum like " Free advertising , it is not my intention. We have a tobacco store in Tampa and Art Shop in Miami and I open recently an Ebay storage like an additional option for the international tourism .I hope that it is clear my intentions and bash and personal attacks stop .

How did I ever miss this gem of a thread last night!

A few thoughts that may have made this a much nicer experience for you daysi:

    1) You should have started by removing your hands from the keyboards and looked at some posts before typing anything. Since you already fucked that one up I'll continue.

    2) You would have noticed (had you not been vomiting from your fingertips on the keyboard) that this forum loves to have an intro, in fact you may have even noticed some of the amazing meltdowns that have occured from NOT posting an intro (this one is getting better and better). Again, you screwed the pooch there too.

    3) Running your cum catcher to the BOTLs here gets you nothing except an amazing and often enlightening string of hostile responses. Hence the amazing "Ankle" comment that I'm going to try to work into my conversations on a daily basis.

    4) Since you've already failed miserably at numbers 1 through 3, I suggest that you follow up with this; apologize and hope people forgive you. Most of the people here, including the ones who were being harsh, are generally good people.

Good luck with whichever way you proceed.

Is it in Ybor City...I've been to most of the cigar stores there. Which one is yours? Do you know a guy named Guado? He is pretty big in the cigar-pipe scene in the Tampa Area.

I appreciate so much your recommendations and be sure than I will try to turn me into an exceptional participant in this forum. My interest is to know about the experiences of the Cigars smokers and to make better paintings. I'm reading many post and I do not understand because you admit so many vulgar words. My vision of a smoker of Cigars, is to be respectful, intelligent and warm. Tu est d'accord??

    Thank you for your support

Based on past experience, there are very few instances where referring to a woman's mouth as a "cum catcher" is actually helpful.

Really? The gobblers at the turkey bars in Osaka used to giggle.

Subic or Olongapo either. As long as you had the $3.50, that is.

This would have been a great intro post. Welcome from Hell. Nice art. In regards to your poll, are those your preferred brands? Look into some box splits here or even the Newbie Sampler Thread in the Exchange section of the forum.
