    Default Lighter?

I've been looking around for a while for a nice cigar lighter because I'm usually stuck using a wood match. They work fine, but can be a pain. I was wondering if anybody had any ideas on a nice cigar lighter that wouldn't cost over $50 or so. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

You should probably check with Drew Estates.

Not sure. I don't use one.

I was on a space ship once when cosmic rays hit us. I can engulf my entire body in flames. Such a hit at parties.

    Flame ON!

So is it safe to say you are a "flamer"?

I love my Xikar. The one I have is the treo but you can find ones cheaper with a single flame torch.

Under $50 is still a hit and miss. I've had lighters in that price range break in months, then again I use them heavily.

Personally I just use a cheapo single flame torch I got from a gas station. It's lasted longer than some lighters I've bought for $20 and if i break or lose it there's no harm done.

Burning Leaf has a wide selection - and they will have them available for the Drew Estates event. I know there are quite a few very nice ones under $50.

As a matter of fact - I'd say it was a good idea to look at their available lighters for purchase because they have a "spending" policy if you want to stay in their lounge for the event.

XiKar has a fantastic warranty and if you look through what they have to offer, you'll find a few under $50.

I placed an order on cigar monster a few weeks ago and didn't plan on buying a lighter, however I impulsively threw a Vector Knight lighter in the cart. It was $14, single flame and two punches. I've been pleased with it so far.

Xikar element, best lighter in the world in my opinion. Has a punch cutter on the bottom, which i used to hate but love now. Has two torch ends, which can be turned low and make easier the task of lighting a cigar than with a single torch model turned up higher. Looks really nice, has a sturdy feel, and can be lit a long time before heating up.

My days of expensive lighters are over. I will not buy anything over $10.00
They last longer and work better than the expensive ones.

I use zippo. They are simple to use and easy to service. They last a very long time and usually cost about thirty bucks

I would avoid a zippo unless you have the torch insert for it. Otherwise, get ready for lighter fluid taste city.
