Default Berger & Argenti Entubar Split

Ok, here is the split thread for the B&G Entubars.

This is only my second split, so I want to keep it on the smaller side. Right now there is only enough interest for one box. If others want in, let me know and we can go from there. I would like to place the order this Friday 9/2/2011 but will wait if there is some interest.

I will ship to Canada for the seasoned Canadian members only, but the contents will need to be listed properly and the extra cost will be on you.

    Rules:
    - No asshats or douchenozzles as normal. So, you must be in good standing with the board.
    - MO is preferred. If I know you or have done business with you, I'll accept a check.
    - Please don't send money until I have the smokes in hand. I'll post when I do, as I am not sure of the shipping timeframe.

    As of 8/31/2011
    Wrapper: Maduro
    Size: Corona
    1x Box @ $135

    Me - 10x - $67.50 = $67.50
    Paddy - 10x - $67.50 + $5.00 Shipping = $72.50
    Yay! Cigars!

Well, my local was in contact with me today and they can't order just 2 boxes. Would have to be 12 full boxes, so that isn't gona work.

Now Atlantic Cigar has them for $143.95 and Free UPS shipping.

    As of 9/7/2011
    Wrapper: Maduro
    Size: Corona
    1x Box @ $143.95

    Me - 10x - $67.50 = $71.97
    Paddy - 10x - $67.50 + $5.00 Shipping = $76.97

Which would be an increase of $4.47.

Paddy, let me know if you want to continue.
    Yay! Cigars!

Also Atlantic is great to deal with. I use them alot.
They may not always be the cheapest but great customer service is worth something.

The maduros are good, but that first natural I had was awesome! None that I've had since have been as good. Been trying to figure out what I did right that day. Think it was a combination of them being at the right humidity and me actually getting a perfect light.

That first one I had burned hot and quick if I recall correctly. It can be kind of a pain to get a good light, as the straight ligero can be difficult. It has been a good experience trying to figure out what made it so good. As I've gone back and am paying more attention to the RH in my coolers again.

I've smoked two of the maduro's. Both have smoked very well. I kept them in a humidor that run a 62 RH.
I like my smokes on the drier side. I run another desk top at 67 RH for cigars with delicate wrappers ( Graycliff come to mind), but these smoke very good at low RH.

That is a good point Paddy, I thought that they might have been at a higher RH at that time due to shipping for some reason and so smoked better at a higher RH. I've had them in my one cooler that is at 70% RH, and they seemed to smoke and light worse as time went on. I began to think that the hygros were off and/or the beads needed recharged. So I recharged the beads and took the remaining naturals and a few maduros out. I stuck them in one of my cigar caddies with a water pillow at 67%. They sat for a few weeks, and they are definitely smoking and lighting better now. Not as good as that first natural, but a lot better than at 70%. So I am also in agreement, that they are better at a lower RH.

Now, I just gota get me some more naturals!

I store my cigars at 68 to 69% then dry box them for a day.
I think ill skip dry boxing when it comes time to smoke this cigar.
