Thread: Antique Cigar Press

  1. Default Antique Cigar Press

Howdy tobacco lovers , I have an antique cigar press found in an attic of a house my parents bought in the 60's . The house is on west 4th st in Winston Salem , NC . It belonged to an Admiral Adkins . I remember someone form RJ Reynolds tried to purchase this press from my father but he refused their offer . I don't know anything about it's origin but It is from just before the turn of the century or older . Hand made , of course , definitely some craftsmanship to produce this piece . Original patina . Would any of you have any information on this item ? thanx a bunch Click image for larger version.

Any markings or writing or numbers? The worth depends on what factory it is from.

A vitophile (cigar band collector) would probably be interested.

I may be intersted in this. Give me a day or so to do some research.
