Thread: cigar suggestions for gift

  1. Default cigar suggestions for gift

Hello all, first time poster here, so I appreciate your time and feedback.

A very good friend of mine is getting married, and although their invitations say 'no gifts' I want to get them something small but very nice that they both enjoy. It just so happens that they both enjoy an occasional cigar.

I will be honest and say I know nothing about cigars and what would be considered a very good cigar. I don't know if they have a humidor of any kind, but I was considering getting them both a great cigar. I would greatly appreciate your feedback on what go get as a gift.

Aside from good friends, we are also business partners, and when we launched our company, he gave each of the partners a Romeo Y Julieta. I don't know where this ranks in the cigar world, lol, but it's all I have to go on If there is a cigar or cigars that really rank up there as 'these are really special', I'd like to hear your thoughts.

    Thanks in advance

A shipment of Opus X came out not long ago. My local shops sold out quickly, but you could always call a few B & M's around your area to see if they have any left.

I have a box of these and think it would be apropos...not easy to find but worth a shot.

If they don't have a humidor, get them something in a tubo so it won't go bad before they get around to it. Davidoff might be a nice direction to go depending on your price limit.

Padron 1926's have a third suggestion from me. They are simply a classy cigar.

On a side note, love all your pictures AMG.
