    Well sort of...

In the 60's they were glorified Falcons
In the 70's they were glorified Pintos.
In the 80's they were glorified Fairmonts

In the mid 80's, they were going to turn the Mustang into a glorified Madza MX6/Ford Probe but they decided against that.

The late 60's and up to '73 they had some "muscle" car models. I think they're trying to give the new, retro ones a "muscle" car image.

What are your plans for this new to you '88 Mustang? They're pretty popular dragsters, as well as drifters. Pretty versatile car, I'm sure you'll have fun regardless of your intentions. Good for you, enjoy!

    1987 Ford Mustang

I already said '83 and I Kevin and I were closer before Winston Spencer.

And if '87 is wrong, I wanna be the first to guess '85

They made a change in 1987 trying to make them a little more rounder. I kinda like the '79 - '86, very mid-80s styling which I like.

My neighbor has a red Mustang convertible, it's in that '79 - '86 time frame, I just can't remember what year. In 1983, they changed them up a little so come to think of it, my neighbor's is a '79-'82 style.
