    Default Cigar Box Clocks

Anyone interested in cigar box clocks?

And no, I'm not talking about selling these for $40.00 like Volusinator tried to do on some other site back some time ago.

I have a bunch of Añejo boxes, total cost for movement, dial numbers and hands is about $5.00 per clock, shipping is about the same. I'll send you a clock and if you want to send me some cigars then that's fine but not required.

I mostly just want to get rid of these cigar boxes that have been piling up. If there's enough interest (ten or so) then I'll order the parts.

    What say you?

Okay, I think there's enough interest. I have to order the movements, the dial numbers, hands, etc. and a fancy router bit to put the keyhole on the back. It'll probably take about a week to get all this stuff in. I'll post back when I get the parts and I'll try to post up some pics. There's one VSG Box and Añejo 48, 49, 50 & 60 boxes. I also have a Cuban LGC Tainos box and a Cuban SP Sanchos box which are both paper (if anyone is particularly interested in those) but they might make good looking clocks. Don't send me any cigars until I have the clocks ready to go.

Sorry George, the cigar box birdhouse I built back some time ago is nailed up in a huge ash tree in by back yard and the local birdies would not take too kindly to me taking it down to send to you so you're just going to have to be satisfied with a clock.

I'd be happy with any of them, but my preference would be an ISOM box. I plan on hanging it in my game room, and feel it would be a cool conversation piece. Thanks again, I'm looking forward to it.

Okay, I think the Sancho Panza Sanchos box would be good for that. SP Sanchos are an "A" size cigar so they're 9 1/2" long which means the box is a big size.

Here's the one Neal sent me years ago:

The one's you guys are getting will look like this. I'm going to get five sets of Roman numerals like this one and sets of Arabic numerals. If you have a preference, post here and let me know. Or, if you don't want any numerals at all, then you can let me know that too.

    George, eat your heart out:

Where do you want me to ship it to, Virginia or some APO address? When are you going to be coming home?

Klockit said the order would be going out today and I'd get an email confirmation when the stuff ships. I never got the email confirmation so they lied. They claim it's being shipped USPS which should mean I'll get it in two to three days from Wisconsin but I'm not so sure......

I ordered the router bit from MCLS and who knows when that's getting here either.

I should be starting to ship these out next week sometime, I'll keep youse guys posted.
