Smoke: Montecristo Afrique ~ Jambo Jambo
Drink: Founders Red’s Rye PA
Tunes: Def Leppard ~ Hysteria
Date Smoked: 1-26-14

Wrapper: Cameroon
Binder: Ecuador
Filler: African / Nicaraguan / Peru
Draw: Light
Burn: Good
Misc.: Nothing recorded.

Pre-light: Apparently, this thing has some age on it! Look at that cello! Colorado – maduro shade wrapper. Pretty nice construction with minimal veins on the wrapper. Has a nice musty barnyard smell mixed with sweet tobacco. Light sweet tobacco on cut prelight taste.

Light: Easy with a light draw.

1st 3rd: Sweet tobacco with light oil bitter. Slight caramel sweetness. Spicy but pretty smooth. There is also a subdued spice. Definitely can taste the Cameroon wrapper. Medium body sofar.

Ash: Light gray with ash bubbles. Nice dense layers. Holds for 1 ¼”

2nd 3rd: The spice has mellowed out going into the second 3rd. Smooth and light draw. Still a nice mix of sweet tobacco and a little oil bitter. Down grading to a light to medium body now.

3rd 3rd: Mostly the same. The spice is back but a more oily, minty spice now. Getting a bit of an ashy flavor now..

Overall impression: From what I remember of this line, maybe this one is a bit washed out with the age, but still pretty good, and very cool aged smoke, nonetheless.

Thank you, George.
