Smoke: Dona Flor Puro Mata Fina ~ Robusto
This was my un-labeled PPP VI puro to try and guess…
Drink: Pepsi Throwback
Tunes: Chatting’ with BOTL & Wifey
Date Smoked: 4-17-14

Wrapper: Brazil
Binder: Brazil
Filler: Brazil
Draw: Medium to light
Burn: Good
Misc.: Nothing recorded.

Pre-light: Colorado maduro shade wrapper. Nice construction with some moderate veins. Couple depressions in wrapper / filler. Not much prelight scent. Not much cut prelight taste either.

Light: Easy, medium to light draw.

1st 3rd: Interesting out of the gate. Oily and also has a tea-like flavor. A sweet tobacco ring. Still a dry oily flavor is dominant. Tempered with sweetness.

Ash: The ash is really structured nice. Light gray. Holds for 1”

2nd 3rd: A bit more fully body. Still oily dominant with a nice sweet balance. Tea flavors. I’m starting to for a stronger opinion on the country. Pretty smooth. Should comment this is pretty good.

3rd 3rd: Purge. Same profile. Oily with sweet tobacco temper. Nice medium pull body and smooth. Not much spice. Again smooth, and some tea notes.

Overall impression: I think this is a Dominican Puro based on the oil dry characteristic.

Thanks Dan, for giving me this delicious, bastardly deceiving Puro…
