    Default noob question

why are cigars closed on one end? does it help keep it fresh? I have a cigar in my humidor that I cut, but then I didn't smoke because I started argueing with my old lady. It's been in my humi for about a month. Will it taste different being cut for so long?

remember, long filler is used(you would hope lol) so its not like stuff will start rolling out the open end. if this happens, either go get your 1.50 at the gas station back or just throw it away and search around this site and others for how to buy proper cigars.

you only need to close up or pinch(like w/curly tops) one end as to tie all the filler off so that it stays as a cigar. as opposed to opening up possibly.
