Thread: Freshening Up a Cigar

  1. Talking Freshening Up a Cigar

So I'm hanging out with some friends, and cigars come up in the conversation. This random guy I'm talking to says he has a box of Romeo Y Julietas given to him by a 'friend.'

I ask him how long he's had them? "A Month," he says. Are you keeping them humidified? "No." Do you realize they're probably dried out?

"Oh, I don't worry about that. If I need to 'freshen up' my cigar I just stick it in the microwave and it's good as new." (no joke)

Ah man, that was one of the funniest things I've heard.

What the hell is a microwave going to do to freshen it up??

create steam to soften the cigar from the inside out. Like when you microwave bread.

So, if the cigar is dried out, and there is no water molecules in it, how does the microwave work? Microwaves only heat things with water molecules in them.

The post was a joke ....I was making fun of the guy's ridiculous statement. Putting them in a microwave is only going to further dry them out....

I heard somewhere that it is a way to kill any TBeatle eggs that might be inside, think that the whole idea is a bunch of crap though.
I thought it was a tampon joke!

So that's the trick!!! I am going to go home tonight and dump all of my cigars in the bathtub to ensure they are plenty humidified!
