Have any of you guys smoked any good cuban replicas?

I found a place on sunset in west hollywood that's got a great cuban (coronaish) replica for 9 bucks. I picked up a few other but haven't tried them yet.

Yes there are some great counterfeits, fakes, whatever you want to call them. Very often they are actually rolled using the short filler scraps from real Cubans. Great tobacco, just not the same quality burn or complex taste. I will be honest though. You can probably find a lot better cigar for that $9 than a fake cuban.

i've got a box of h.upmann super coronas and SLR serie a and each were under $200.00.
from a verified and reputable vendor.
now if you're talking cohiba....$225 would definitely be a fake.

if you're ever in the los angeles area you should give them a shot. I honestly didn't think they were going to be as good as they were. I have no problems spending that much if they taste that good and are hassless.
