Cigar lounge in your town?

So, I am wondering if any of you have cigar bars or lounges in your city? A place where you can buy a cigar and sit and smoke it if you like. Maybe enjoy a congac, beer or wine? I suppose you could also smoke pipes there and purchase pipe tobacoo? How many places do you have in your city like this? How long have they been around? Are they busy? Is it more public or private and small? What are their names? I heard of one place here in Calgary that didn't make it as a cigar lounge. It was called the Chameleon. I don't think that is a very good name for a cigar lounge, and it would hardly draw the right kind of business. I think it's still open as a wine lounge but the humidor is empty and dry:( I'm just wondering why there aren't more of these kinds of lounges?

Must be a bunch of night owls here. My place is called Libations Too. It has plenty of leather chairs and sofas to relax on. They have a wide range of cigars that you can purchase, as well as just about any drink that you can think of. They have many copies of Cigar Aficionado to sit back and enjoy, as well as a great sound system that tends to favor smooth jazz. It's a public place, though the patrons of this place are not exactly your run of the mill Wal-Mart shoppers. You dress up to go to this place, otherwise you will truly stand out. They've been in business for quite awhile now, but with our new smoking ban in place, it looks as if the only smoking tha will be done there will be outside on the new deck that they have constructed for that purpose.

All of these are in the Detroit area in Michigan.

Sean O'Callaghans in Plymouth Actually an Irish pub, but sells cigars and lets you smoke whatever you want.

La Casa De La Habana in Plymouth They serve coffee, espresso and other coffee beverages as well.

Double Olive in Dearborn Old school martini bar. Do it up like a real swinger ;)

Along with a ton of cigar shops where you can sit and smoke for a bit.

There's a killer tobacconist in Mill Valley (about 25 min North of San Francisco) where I live. They have a wall humidor and a backroom, aging and stocking room. They have 4 big chairs, a big screen, and tons of magazines. They have at least 100 private lockers for rent. It's kindof intimidating, but you just want to go hang out there! The one near where I live is like a small pub and a small cigar shop connected together...quite roomy.

Are you talking about Cigar Club? I'll be there Tuesday afternoon to "host" an out-of-towner.

The inside of the place could use a bit of a "facelift" but it's a very comfortable place to kick back with a smoke and a drink.

In Calgary there used to be a cigar lounge/club, but it shut down a number of years ago. Only place that I've heard of lately is ok with cigars the Inn on Crowhild lobby bar, but they don't do sales.

Currently I buy them at Cavendish and Moore in Penny Lane. Also I hit Sheffield and Sons for when I need one quick, they're cheaper than C & M. Looking for another source since my current favourite is a Montecristo no. 4 which runs about 19-21 bucks.

I am loyal only to Joseph at the Chinook Shefield and son. Go give him a try. I have been to all the other shops around and he keeps the best stock and the best humidity in my opinion

Great bunch of guys hang around, nice selection of cigars in a walk in humidor, leather chairs, TV's everywhere, game table (great poker and hearts), Golden Tee, frequent events - you can't ask for much more...

There are two in close proximity to me. Both have lounges, the first is a lot better lounge with lotsa chairs, tv's, poker tables but you have to pay $750 per year to get a membership, which entitles you to the lounge, the BYOB bar and a locker in their humidor to store cigars.

The other one has great leather lounge chairs and a great TV and great staff. And no membership fee.

Guess which one I go to?

Great shop in Arlington Heights, IL just off NW Highway (it's either Arlington Pipe & Tobacco or Pipe & Cigars). Went in for the first time, huge selection, big lounge with comfortable leather chairs, and very friendly help. Been in Arlington Heights for 30+ years, Father and Son running it. They don't have Padrons yet, but they are getting them soon.

Check it out when you get the chance ggiese, or anyone else in the Northwest Chicago 'Burbs.

I'm new here, but there is a new smoke shop near my house. Its in Bedford NH and is called Blowin' Smoke. They seem to have a good collection of cigars. Also a nice lounge area.

There is one shop in Austin I know of that has a cool smoke lounge, but it costs $850 a year to join. I've been looking for somewhere like this to smoke and watch football without being nagged to death, anyone have any ideas?
