Hi Folks,

Lots of talk on a second Pass Across America so I asked around and guess I'll be hosting it. Except for fun and giggles, it's called the Virgin America Pass. Why might you ask? Well sure and here you go:

1. This my first cigar pass
2. This is (hopefully) passing across America

The Idea (shamelessly borrowed)

Yup, it's that Pass Across America thing. And yup, I've been wanting to be a part of a pass for a while.

The Rules (shamelessly stolen)

Slight variation of the original...but no less exciting...

1) Priority #1 is to have FUN!!!!
2) When you receive the pass, please do a through inventory and make sure everything is numbered correctly
3) Inspect the box, packing etc. If you have any concerns, please post or notify me via PM
4) Please do not remove any cigars from their baggies unless they are a part of your Takes.
5) Do as many Puts/Takes (P/Ts) as you want, but post them prior to shipping the package off to the next recipient.
6) P/Ts should be: A) value for value, B) ISOM for ISOM, C) E) Rarity for Rarity
7) If anyone does not feel that the Puts/Takes are fair, please be polite in addressing it, to the person directly or to me
8) Prior to shipping, please post or PM the next person to verify that they are ready for the pass.
9) Once you ship the package via USPS Priority Mail, please post DC# in the forum

the fun rules...

10) 2 photos must be taken - one of a local landmark or similar and the other of anything you want. Keep in mind all photos taken (and posted) may (and if Shag has anything to do with it) haunt you for all google-cached eternity. Photos may be taken digitally or with the disposable camera.
11) 2 items must be recognizably present in each photo (if not very small). A stick from the pass and, as important, a shell lei I'm putting in the box. That way the digital photos taken can be authenticated (and hey, it's a virgin pass, may as well have leis).
12) Any extra cigars left over will be split between polls for the best landmark photo and the best "other" photo.

I've asked a couple BOTLs to join in; some to help me moderate, some b/c of previous trades & relationships developed. Would like a total of 16 folks (including me) for this one. PAA #1 folks welcome to join. For folks I don't know or hasn't been around, you need to have 100 posts, and some Old Hat vouch for you from a trade, pass, etc. No offense, I don't want another RY. If you wind up not being in this pass, please don't take it personally - there will be more and you will be in them.

I believe that the BsOTL involved in the original pass shoult get first crack at joining this one (no offence Dan, just my thoughts) but if there's room for another Canuck, add my name to the list. Because Drew was in the original, put him first and I'll cover the cost of getting it back across the border.

No offence Dan, but you are very new. Unless you have somebody to vouch for you, you probably will not be allowed into this pass.

But stick around, do some trading, contribute and then after you get some rep you can join passes.

Thanks for your support BPP, but I think others are right its only fare that I earn their trust before being a part of this thing. IF there are 16 people beside me I will gladly wait for next turn and if you do need a BOTL to make it 16 just let me know I will be glad to jump on the wagon at any point.
