    Default Gracliff Cigars..Worth the $$$?

To you FOG's out there that have been around the block more than a few times...what is your take on these?

I see them and usually highly praised. Is this good marketing and a decent cigar or just a damn good cigar with the bones to back it up?

***EDIT**maent to type GRAYCLIFF with the "y"

I'm no FOG but the 3 Graycliff's I've had have been really, really good...on the other hand, they were all gifted at one time or another so I can't say if they were really worth the money.

GGiese, are you out there? My first Graycliff came from Illinois via GG so I'm guessing he has a little more experience with them and might be able to give you a better read on "bang for buck"

While I am not a FOG I will give you an opinion. I hope you do not mind.

I have smoked a couple Graycliffs and enjoyed them. They were well made and flavorful smokes. However, I did not think they were worth the price I paid or were charged for these. The distinction being that I was gifed one that was a bit pricey. These are already pricey sticks and then throw into the mix that I live in the Communist Republic of California run by the Liberal Tobacco Nazi Regime where tobacco taxes (although we recently shot down a new one) are excessive, I simply cannot justfy spending $20+ per stick on these.

I think they suck and are not worth the ridiculous prices they ask for these.

Would the CI Legends Graycliff be a better buy than the regular Graycliffs? Or is there a significant difference in taste, like night and day?

I really like the blue labels, and I find the red labels to be pleasing, but not as much. That being said, I would _never_ pay full price for one, unless I needed a gift for a friend who loves them or something like that.

Every now and then there's a fairly nice deal on cbid if you look for them.

I've also heard that Camacho has fairly similar if not better smokes for far less money, but I'm pretty sure I heard that on this board, and I haven't confirmed that for myself.

    EDIT:

By the way, disclaimer: I'm a newb, ignore me.

Waaayyy over priced. IMO. Good 5-8 dollar brand, not 20 +.
