Default Guantanamera Cigars. Anyone heard of em?

I was gifted one of these by my Dad, who knows nothing about cigars. He picked it up on his recent trip to Mexico.

    Anyone ever heard of/smoked ?

Newer machine made Havana. Never had one but I've read that they are so-so.

Not a very good representation of Cuban cigars...Bottom of the machine made heap.

Smoke it Chris . They aren't the best representation of a machine made Cuban but it was very nice for your father to get it for you. He could have bought a nasty fake cohiba instead LOL. Mexico is ate up with fake Cubans espically top names and sizes

You'll probably like it, Chris - they're pretty mild for a Cuban. However, definitely machine made and not the best construction at that...

Definitely smoke it, though. There's nothing really wrong with that cigar.

Like the others said, smoke it... its a gift and the thought is what counts. Mild, and the wrapper is likely to fall off or unwrap when lit in my experience.... Still, give er a go and enjoy.

Which one did he get you? I have tried the cigarrillo size ones and while they are very mild, there is nothing wrong with them. There are some very good ISOM cigars that have contact with machines from JlP and RyJ (ask newf). Don't diss Guantanamera until they have a chance to find their feet.
I thought it was a tampon joke!
