2001 Opus RDC - it was part of an "aged" sampler I bought. I have no way of knowing if it's actually a 2001 but it makes me feel good to believe it, so it is imo. It's good never the less as they say.
As unscientific as it is, I can usually tell "aged" Opus' when they burn clean and straight. Damn near every young Opus I've smoked burns crazy and need to be constantly relit. If they have at least 2 yrs of age - 99% of the time they smoke fantastic. Especially the RDC's - those buggers really need the rest...

It did burn really well and as mellow as it was I'm sure it was some kind of aged. The guy I got it from seems pretty reputable so I'm gonna believe it was a 2001 because, well, why the hell not? :)

Liga Privada Undercrown Gran Toro for breakfast this morning. Perfect complement to my coffee, which has been compared to concentrated espresso.

On Tuesday I ended up smoking a: Cuban Stock Royal Selection instead of the planned 'Edge Habano'

Last night however I did smoke the Rocky Patel Edge Habano and I was really impressed!

If you like the Edge series by RP, I highly recommend you try one of the Habano's (light blue band on foot). I smoked it while tying some snells for my upcoming fishing trip whilst sitting on my deck in the evening sun and sipping sweet tea. I definitely have to get some more of those!

64 Padron Family Reserve. Only because I dropped the box while hunting through my cigars and damaged one. Grrrr supposed to be a special occasion stick. I'm making the best of it pairing with a Barry's 11yr old St Lucia Rum

Illusione cg4 I got in a trade. It nearly went out at about a quarter of an inch and then almost immediately after that needed a touch up. At almost a third in now with no more issues, and holy shit this is a good tasting cigar. Such a smooth, rich tobacco flavor with a touch of sweetness. No spice on the draw, but a peppery explosion on the retrohale.

This is the first Illusione I've had and I think I'll be looking for more.

Having some Brooklyn Local 1 with it. Three glasses in and I am pretty darned loopy for a Thursday night.

Feeling real goodman in deep South Knoxville tonight.

I had one of those left in my humi that had been there for quite some time. I've been saving it for that perfect occasion to smoke it. I had the house to myself last night and it was a gorgeous evening so it was the perfect occasion to sip sweet tea and smoke my last '64.

I was too lazy to take a pic so I'm borrowing yours TGT.......hope you don't mind!
