I would just smoke it and hope for the best. Maybe put some pectin on the cracks so they don't open up as you smoke it.

Its a pretty big hole in the wrapper and I think its even through the binder...
i dont think I'll be able to draw very well from it. I was thinking of putting some kinda paper or somthing over the hole..?

Yeah, i dont know if pectin will fix that. fuck it, just cut it in half and smoke it that way. I take it your address is current?
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, "You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done." -unknown

maybe you can get a rolling paper like zigzag and wrap it around the hole?

Slide the wrapper down over it or moisten the cap after you "carefully" remove it and use it as a patch.

I just re-read my post, the first part should be slide the band, not wrapper down.

I've done that with the bottom band on a R.P. Vintage before that started splitting. It stopped the split from running up the cigar.

If the draw is your big issue, just put a finger over it to get the draw tight. Hopefully you get a tight enough draw for it to smoke to the rip and then you are golden from there. If you do slide the band down or use some sort of paper to cover it, you will still need to press on it to seal it tightly. Either way, I've found it to work, especially during these cold times.

    What they said.

I would Just put my finger over it and smoke it. Every so often When I'm carrying my cigars around for work to home to where ever they get a little banged up. I have a large herf box but only use a bag for those times I only have a 5 pack with me. At times it's a pain smoking a damaged one but I have only myself to blame for it. If it's a real issue for you do what nhcigarfan suggested.

If you are looking for pectin, check the canning section. I know that I've seen it at Safeway.
