All of these pics were taken west of Billings on the Yellowstone River; that track is property of Montana Rail Link and those are the Crazy Mountains in the background.

Took a drive north this past weekend and the clouds/sky were amazing so I thought I'd share

My two favorites...the sun was reflecting off the strawgrass and the whole prairie was shimmering.

I agree with Mark, that top one from your top picks is fantastic. The bottom one feels like it wanted more grass in it. Nice work man these are awesome.

I like the proportions of the first image, but I also like how the second pic shows the vastness of the sky.

You're probably right, but I was trying to capture the hugeness of the sky that day. They say MT is big sky country and that day it really was.
