The Velazquez family has been in the cigar industry since the 1920's Angelo Velazquez is the 4th generation that has recently in November 2009 took over the company after he was injured in Kuwait during the war. Velazquez Cigars based out of Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico is a small boutique company that sold only to locals and islanders. After long discussions with Angelo, Maredos Cigar Distribution Co. has become the exclusive distrbutor of Velazquez Cigars for the U.S territory and dedicated to present these unique cigars to all cigar aficionados. I sent you a variety of the cigars first is the increasingly popular flavored torpedo it's design is short filler with a wine/vanilla taste that maintains consistent, the wrapper is sumatra from Indonesia and the binder is from Puerto Rico.
