Bio:

PML Cigars, LLC was created and co-founded by Beatriz Paz de Montiel of Cuban origin, in loving memory of her late husband, Patricio J. Montiel Largaespada, a native of Nicaragua

Sadly on November 16, 2009, Pat passed away, but his legacy continues in the creation of PML Cigars, LLC. Unlike other tobacconists, PML Cigars seeks to highlight Nicaragua as a producer of the finest cigars currently available and as means for the country’s economic growth.

The Nicaraguan cigar industry is going through its own renaissance as well, making it the world leader in production for established and flourishing brands, like Archomonti. From the days of Somoza to the revolution and the devastation of hurricane Mitch, the region of Esteli to the valley of Jalapa now takes its rightful place on the international stage as the world’s best, due largely to its rich soil and dry hillsides.
