Love the playoffs. Bummer about Rose. I like the Celtics but they're a bit old and creaky to get too far. The Eastern Conference is the Heat's to lose with Rose done for the Bulls.
I like Memphis in the West.
The east is looking pretty one-sided towards the Heat. I've been a fan of Durant since before they moved the franchise, but the West should be very entertaining to watch play out.
Yep, he's (Durant) one of my favorite players. I just think Memphis is rolling right now and OKC looked pretty discombobulated the last month of the season. Hopefully Harden comes back 100% for them.
I agree, Memphis is cruising. I hope they destroy the Clippers.
I think we'll be fine though. That shot by Durant tonight was beautiful. I hope that gives us the momentum we lost those last three weeks or so.

Who could have ever foreseen the impact that injuries have had on this playoff. The Heat may yet lose to the Pacers, which wouldn't bother me one bit. The Spurs are the team that is looking nearly unstoppable.Quote:

I'm fairly certain of your Western matchups, but I think it's quite plausible that we'll see a Pacers/76ers Eastern Conference championship. The Heat simply don't know how to win a playoff series. The Pacers are lucky to even BE in the playoffs, and Miami is having trouble putting them away? It's more likely that Boston will win over Philadelphia, but if Garnett decides not to show up again, they're in some trouble.Quote:

I'm pulling for the Pacers to beat the Heat as well. Stephan A. Smith and Skip Bayless were talking about the OKC / Spurs Western Conference Finals, and said it would be better than the actual finals, which I believe is true. That's going to be a hard fought playoff series. I'm partial to the Thunder, because of them previously being the SuperSonics. Should he a great match-up, but I'm scared of how deep the Spurs are!
