Montecristo Media Noche ~ Churchill
logan37's review
Smoke: Montecristo Media Noche ~ Churchill
Drink: Yuengling Bock Beer
Tunes: None
Wrapper: Connecticut Maduro
Binder: ???
Filler: Nicaraguan, Dominican, Peruvian
Draw: Medium
Burn: Ok
Misc: 90-120mins
Pre-light: Dark brown. Nice construction. A little veiny, but not too bad. Musky / sweet tobacco scent. Not much prelight flavor until the cap is cut, then there’s a strong leathery chew tobacco flavor.

Light: Pretty easy. Medium draw.
1st 3rd: Leather and oil right off the bat. Very dense flavor & rich. I give this the chocolaty goodness seal of approval. Medium body, and medium to full flavor. Sweet tobacco notes. Medium draw, but it seems I can’t get a good cloud of smoke outta it right now…

Ash: Crisp white with some light gray mottled spots. Stacks very nice. Holds on for 1 ½”

2nd 3rd: Leather & oil again. Sweet ring and oil has a bitter twinge to it now. Starts to develop more into a full body closer to the end of this third.

3rd 3rd: Still leather, still oil but now more developed an blending well. Getting more smoke out of it too. Very rich sweet tobacco flavors mixed with the above described.

Overall impression: Nice smoke. Really picked up in the last third, leading me to maybe search for these in a smaller vitola, like Robusto, on cBid.
Thanks Smoked! For this opportunity!

Chocolaty Goodness Seal of Approval
It has been a while since I worked my way through one of these. They are enormous. You called it right on the "second third" flavor profile. I have a few of these in the corona size. They seemed to flow a little more smoothly.
Nice photos!
