I have been a Cigar Collector and Smoker for a few years now and I was wondering if anyone here had tried Jose L. Piedra Cigars? I was recently told that they were terrible so I have avoided buying them for some time. This weekend however I tried one and they were excellent. They were Jose L. Piedra, Nacionales. Anyone try them that can give their opinion???
Never heard of them. How was the smoke? What made it good? Taste is purely subjective so something someone hates you might love.
Personally I Like them very much. They are considered a strong cigar. There are many people that don't like Jose Piedras because they are too strong but that's usually because they don't like the bitter taste these have especially when they are young. The "bitterness" virtually disappears once these cigars have a little age on them. I would also NOT recommend these to people who are new to smoking Cuban cigars.
