Cigar for Non-Smokers?
This is probably the best place to ask such a silly question :smiley1:
I have a birthday party coming up. I've smoked cigars a couple times before, but I would not call myself a smoker.
My business partners and I recently encountered some good fortune...we plan to smoke some cigars and drink cognac. None of them are smokers. I plan to pay 20-30 per pop.
What kind of cigar would you recommend I get? I would prefer to buy this online. I'm in the US if that makes any difference.
Would it be a problem if we split the cigars down the middle? Again we are non-smokers, but just want to try this thing out for once for my birthday. Thank you!

Try something mild like an Arturo Fuente, Macanudo, Montecristo, or Davidoff. And I wouldn't recommend "splitting the cigar down the middle" as this will cause the cigar to come apart. There are various sizes to choose from so you can get something small if you want. Hope this helps. Enjoy.

Happy Birthday!
I guess my suggestion would be not to spend so much on each cigar for non-cigar-smokers. Will they know the difference?
If you MUST spend between $20 - $30 per cigar, look for some Partagas 150's. Excellently aged, very smooth and very highly regarded amongst aficionados. The best place to buy these online is here: http://www.caminoviejo.com/store/cat...rtagas-150.htm. Camino Viejo is widely considered the premium online cigar store in terms of not only price, but customer service and quality of cigar shipping.
Otherwise, I would suggest something a bit cheaper, like La Tradicion Cubana: http://www.caminoviejo.com/store/cat...ion-cubana.htm, Carlos Torano Virtuoso line: http://www.caminoviejo.com/store/cat...o_virtuoso.htm, or some Belmore Cameroon Selection: http://www.caminoviejo.com/store/cat...ion-cigars.htm.
Again, Happy Birthday!
