The Calgary Stampede just ended on Sunday. I went twice this year. Saw the Grand Stand show one of those nights. And ate a little too much junk food... God I love Carnival food! Oh, and I saw the superdogs!!! They kick ass!!!
Has anyone on here ever heard of the Calgary Stampede or gone to it??

I was stuck in Airdrie training over the opening weekend and then had to fly back to Grande Prairie. What a tease.
The Stampede was always one of those "man what a kickass roadtrip" ideas my buddies and I always kicked around but never got around to doing. From all I've heard of it, it sounds like a blast.
The stampede is the largest rodeo in the world. Never been, but have been to Cheyenne's Frontier Days (the second largest) and one of my alma maters (CalPoly) always has the champion college rodeo team from North America.
Rodeos are great, amazing skills the cowboys and girls have.
