NEWBIE here
First id like to say HELLO and i just started smoking cigars not too long ago and i love it!
I just would like to get some recomendations, when i go to the cigar store im kinda overwhelmed, ive been trying Monticristos and Punch, i kinda liked Monticristo Buena Fortuna wasnt too bad. Overall ive just been trying random cigars. but the problem is they kinda blend together...im not really able to tell LARGE diffrences between the cigars i smoke.
can anyone recomend a few newbie sticks just so i can get my taste situated, or even sizes i should give a try before i start exploring so wildly... thanks i appreciate it.

Hmmmmm, where to start.......
Try a few different MADURO cigars :smiley20: I like maduros because while they LOOK intimidating, the wrapper is generally sweet and tastes like sugar.
La Unica maduros should be available in your local shop.
Hoyo de Monterrey & El Rey del Mundo maduros are also usually easy to find.
You can save yourself a lot of money buy shopping on line from:
Famous Smoke
Cigars International
At some point, you should treat yourself to some expensive cigars like a Padron 1926 maduro or a Padron Anniversay 1964 maduro. These are hard to find in local cigar shops and on line as well :smiley6:

Welcome to the board!. :smiley20: For economy selection-try the Punch london clubs-taste just like "toast." Also give the Punch champion and after dinner maduro a try. Just some suggestions. :smiley37:

welcome to the board!
i'm still really new the smoking world so i don't really have any cigars that i can recommend. i can only tell you what i started with. my first was a diablo. very nice and spicy. then an el rey del mundo. also very good. followed be an excalliber 1066. and to end with a ashton 898, i think. i didn't care too much for the aston as it was very mild with not that much flavor. one word on the el rey del mundo, smoke it slow, i went too fast with it and not so nice things happened. but the flavor was awsome.

Hmmm, for maduros I'd say try the Punch Rothchild Double Maduro, also the El Rey Del Mundo Robusto Oscuro (or maduro, whichever you can find). Another you should be able to find pretty easy is the Padron 3000 maduro.
For naturals I will suggest the La Gloria Cubana Wavell and the Camacho (any size really).

Welcome to the board! :smiley31: To help get your taste buds ready I suggest going to buy a couple really cheap cigars as well. That way you have something to compare the nicer cigars you smoke with :smiley20:

For a newb at cigar smoking I'd suggest starting out a bit milder...
Macanudo Hyde Park (Actually, just about any of the Macs)
CAO Gold Label
Griffin's Natural (not the Fuerte)
Cheaper end:
Baccarat
Helix blue label
Welcome to the board :smiley20:
