Hey guys I got e new HYdra SM humidifier for my cabinet humidor and also next to it I've put my digital hygrometer that I did the salt test to it and gave me a 74% reading and when I have both of them next to each other there ia a difference of 3 to 4 % in humidity reading so I'm trying to change the reading on my Hydra but not getting any result anyone had the same problem?
1% change in the reading per click of the dial, no?
BTW, I noticed when I check the calibratation of my Hydras that the other Hygrometer's sensor has to be very close to the Hydra's sensor. I usually rest the known good Hygrometer right on top of the Hydra's display. Also, I found it is faster/easier to do if the Hydra's reservoir is removed, and trip point is reset super-low so the fan never comes on. YMMV.
It's a 1% in each click but I am right now doing the salt test to my Hydra humidifier to see if it's properly calibrated .
