I really enjoy the Sun Growns.
Sun Grown
Vintage 1990
Cuban Blend
Rosado
these are my favorites
I've had one Decade, and a couple Old World Reserve, they were good, but I've not had enough to base an opinion on.
Against the grain here, but I vote '92 over the '90

Get a 601 Blue Maduro - you will not smoke RP again :smiley1:
I know that doesnt help but - try the RP OWR Corojo Robusto.
In this order:
Decade
'90
OWR Corojo Robusto
Honduran classic
If you get a good deal on the Decades, I would buy several. They are tasty.
thanks for all the tips guys. it seems almost everyone i talk to likes the vintage 90s. wont they eventually run out of tobacco from 90 though? do i even know what i am talking about? :smiley3:
Only the wrapper is vintage 1990 / 1992, the filler / binder I think is aged 5 years.
Yeah, eventually they'll run out.
Since you don't want a cigar that will knock you on your ass, I'd look at the RP's in this order:
RP Fusions
RP Euro Vintage
RP Vintage '92, then the '90
Decade
I think the Decade is one of the fuller bodied cigars that I really enjoy, but it definately makes for a one cigar night for me.

Wow, no one said anything about the RP Edge Maduro? Shocking.
I was wondering about the Edge too. I see em a lot, but assumed no one was recommending them because they are strong or something.
About the Sun Grown ones. I thought that tobacco advertised as "sun grown" always have more nicotine in them. Is that not the case?
The Edge, regardless of what is published, has changed from the original blend. I don't care for them like I did in the beginning.
Sun grown tobacco is generally a thicker leaf, und as such, normally has a stronger flavor.
The RP Sun Grown are awesome cigars.
forgive my ignorance here. so, just because a cigar is marketed as "sun grown", that does not mean that it will pack a serious punch when it comes to nicotine? i hate it when i have to back off a cigar because the nic is making me feel woozy. yea, im a lightweight. :smiley36:
