Ok, I have a couple glass tubos encased cigars that have a wax seal on the bottom. Is there any need to keep them in the humi or is it pointless? Guess I'm asking if I can assume the seal is airtight (appears to be).
Thanks all.

If you have room, sure. If they're wax sealed, then I suppose they don't NEED to be in there, but I usually crack open tubos to let them acclimate to my preferred smoking humidity.
Can't hurt and if the wax seal isn't as good as you hope then it can only help.
Yes, I would.
Unless its something like a Gurhka infused cigar, then I don't see a problem with doing it.
Now if its got some flavor added, that's a different story.

Where else would you keep them? :smiley1:
Uhhhhh, in a separate humidor?

One of my Gurhka's is floating inside the office water cooler. It bobs around like a half-submerged fishing float. Apparently it was well sealed. :smiley22:
i would keep in the humi just because it's safer there until you want to smoke it.
Why don't you just take a couple nights this week, and just smoke those. Then you don't have to worry about where to put them?
Admit it. Mine is the best idea.:smiley37:

Badwhale, Your idea does have some merit. However, the cigars are more collectors than smokers right now. I may have one just to try it, but we'll see. Right now the collector one is not in the humi but the other is waiting on space in the humi. I was just checking to see if it would have a harmful effect as I did want to smoke it at some point but don't really have room right now.
Collectors? I am not sure I understand this concept. I understand aging and saving for a special occasion, but I have a very specific plan for all of my sticks; it doesn't involve keeping them away from fire :smiley37:
What is in those glass tubes?
