Hello,

I bought a pack of Miami Suites in the Rum flavor (figured, it's good to drink, can't be too bad for smokes) and Loved them, smoked one about every day. Then after my divorce I got to know a coworker and we got maried in May of '99 and at our Wedding Party that her friend threw for us, I was given another cigar that I fell in love with after 2 puffs. Went on a web quest to find out what it was (figured it was rude to ask) and determined it was a Don Carlos #3, been a Hand Rolled Long Filler Junkie ever since (mostly).
Good ones are Garcia y Vega Whiff. I tried Swisher Sweets, Middletons Cherry, and I finally settled in on the Black and Mild.

You definately cannot go wrong with the Peach Phillies... just one smell of it is enough to win you over. Dont buy Garcia Vega or Dutchmasters... i would stick to the phillies- good taste but doesnt last long
W & D's are good cigars that are readily available....
I would ask to borrow the phone book and find the nearest tobacco and pipe shop that sells cigars.

First the above aren't cigars. They are dog turds of the highest order and I fart in your general directions for smoking them. :smiley38:
I think this whole thread should be deleted.
Many years ago, I would occasionally buy a "drugstore" cigar that I don't quite remember the name of...Black Jack or some such, I think. I recall that it wasn't a bad tasting maduro for the money.
Life's too short to smoke cheap cigars.
That said, there is nothing wrong with an inexpensive cigar, but if you bought it from a place that doesn't have a humidor, it's a cheap cigar. I was in a liquor store last week and noticed they had a humi case and among the other (cheap) cigars was a box of Partargas Black Label... If they hadn't been grossly overpriced I may grabbed one.
Majestic Liquor has a Humidor at every location in my area. Good thing is, they do not kill you with a markup. I get Torano 1959 torps there for about $3, or Torano's The Brick for $1.85. Not bad at all, in a pinch. :smiley37:

There is one cigar that's worth smoking that you can find on the drug store shelf. It's Cuesta-Rey Cabinet #95. A nice medium-mild long filler smoke with a cameroon wrapper. They aren't generally too cheap, and the plastic bag in which they're packed contains a small humi-pack. The one's I bought were still a little dry, but not terrible. Rum Runners are another decent cigar you can sometimes find.
If I needed a fix I would drive to a cigar shop, I've driven about 45min to get a cigar.
That being said in the spirit of the thread I would buy a five pack of Black&Milds, It's pipe tobacco and it's where my hobby first started. so smoking one would not be the worst thing I've ever done.

There are multiple opportunities to find a decent smoke:
Go to a grocery store that has a humi.
Find a cigarette shop that has a humi.
Find a convenience store that has a humi.
Find a liquor store that has a humi.
Find a cigar shop!
One of these should be available within a 25 mile radius of your location unless you are in middle of hell! That being said, there is no reason to buy a crappy drug store cigar.

He's not putting his mooch in this post so that he can say to you that he doesn't mooch... Can't you see the pattern??? :smiley37:
Now, now! You can find Cuesta-Rey (an Arturo Fuente brand) and Macanudo in many drug stores, so it's not a total loss.
