This is a review for the second Fusion that I recently got in a sampler. Since I had such a good time with the Fusion Blue Lablel yesterday, I thought I would duplicate the conditions again and have it with my morning coffee.

Pre-light...Dark & oily looking. Lighting this was harder than the Blue Label. Didn't want to burn even and I kept having to touch it up. Every time I sat it down to take a sip of coffee, it wanted to go out. Draw was hard and I kept pinching it to try and loosen it up. I thought all day about describing the taste...after reading Edgeman's review of the RP Costa Rican Maduro...his description of the 'twangy' leather taste is it.

First two ashes held for 1" and I was starting to really get tired of this stick.

At the halfway it suddenly started to unravel. I thought, double wrapper...sure go ahead and peel it. What a difference that made. Instantly I had the creamy, then the nutty coming & going although not as pronounced as the Blue Label. Started burning even & never had to do another touchup, the ash improved to 1 1/2 and the draw was a ton better. It was like the outer wrapper was choking it.

Last part was the buttered toast taste again. If all the double maduros start out like that then I guess they're not for me. Although I did like it better without the outer wrap.
