Back from Reno/Tahoe

Boring 3-day conference in Reno, surrounded by dorks, slowly realizing that I too am a complete dork: CHECK

Teach the wifey how the "spinny wheel with the bouncy ball" betting works and then watch her randomly throw chips on Red, Black , Even & Odd and amazingly win $60 in 5 minutes: CHECK

We had a great time - nice and relaxing (after the business conferences were over). Did a bunch of hiking around Lake Tahoe, picnics on the beach, wifey had a blast taking pictures left and right. I'd never been to Tahoe before, and it was beautiful. Nice to get away from the heat too. What a pain though to come back to town and deal with all the emails and phone calls. Ugh, I need a vacation.

There are only a couple things that I do extremely well... skipping stones is one of them.

Oh dude, considering I haven't left this area for anything that classifies as vacation in a couple of years, I am beyond envious.

Never thought of going to Lake Tahoe before, but those pictures have definitely changed my thoughts on that.

I love Lake Tahoe, but I've never been there in the summertime; only to ski @ Heavenly. Those pics are beautiful, though! Got me thinking I should try to get out there soon.

Welcome back Buzz. Looks like you had a good time away. My last "vacation" I cleaned out the garage, the basement, installed a new shower/tub faucet kit, painted, ran some new electric...I need a vacation...
