Fidello Cutter
CI's free gift offer right now is a fidello cutter for internet orders over $99. Instead of clipping the cap, this cutter slices six slits in the cap/shoulder of the cigar. I was curious if anyone here has had any experience with these, and how well they work. A cursory search for fidello did not bring up anything.

Interesting...I had not seen one of those before. Checked youtube and found this video, however it does not show the cutting process or how it smokes.

Just from watching that, I don't think that's something I'd give up my guillotine/punch for.

I would think there would be some crazy tar build up with something like that.:smiley11:
And to be honest, it doesn't even look interesting.

I thought this video was pretty enlightening.

While visiting my local B&M last Saturday, the proprietor had one that he received at the show. From what I saw, when you bite down on the cigar to draw, it opens the cap to allow more smoke out.

I'll get one in my order, should be here any day, will try it out, and let you know.

Can't see it working on torpedos, not that I'd want that cut anyway. Like someone said earlier, it looks like a perfect cut for resin.
