a hankering for a stanky stogie

Am I the only smoker who enjoys a good old fashioned stanky stogie from time to time.
I'm not talking about a full bodied cigar, I'm talking about a cheap cigar that's just a step above a Phillie Blunt.
I recently purchased just such a cigar while browsing at a local cigar shop. It was poorly wrapped and packed and to be honest with you I bought it because I felt sorry for it sitting all alone in the box.
I didn't waste the time to let it age, because I knew it needed to be put out of it's misery.
It was strong and full of smoke and it burned quickly. I have to admit that I enjoyed it tremendously.
Don't get me wrong, I don't want to smoke one every day, but it was nice to just enjoy a cigar because it needed to be smoked.
Am I crazy or are there other generous souls out there who are willing to give a bad cigar an honorable end from time to time?

Ok, Let me ask this a different way.
Have you ever went to purchase a cigar and the only ones they had in the store were the leftovers. I usually order my cigars so that I don't have to worry about that, but did stumble across a brand that I really like and got a taste for. Unfortunately it wasn't a store that that keeps a very good stock of cigars. I found myself purchasing the last two. The smoke was good, but I figured out that I need to find them online.

I guess there wasn't as much a question involved as there was just an explanation.
Being new to the forum, I didn't know how serious everyone would be and I found out that sarcasm seems to be a requirement. I PROMISE my posts will be more legible and thought provoking from here on out.

I wouldn't say that "sarcasm is a requirement" however when you make statements such as your first one here which was your first post on this forum, you shouldn't be surprised at the responses. For example, if my first post on the Oldsmobile forum was to say "Hey, Japanese cars have it all over any American pieces of junk" I wouldn't be shocked if most of the replies were "WTF?"

I have to admit, I do occasionally enjoy a Munniemaker from time to time so a small part of me actually thinks your original post here has some validity but I do stand by my original response that life is too short to smoke cheap cigars.

Thanks. I will do my best. I am an old smoker who quit 14 years ago and I have recently started back.
I started smoking in college, mainly because it pissed people off and they would leave my dorm room. I stumbled upon a good cigar (although I must admit I don't remember the brand) and realized I actually enjoyed them.
Now that I have started smoking again, I am still settling in to what I like. I am currently on somewhat of a budget, so the brands I smoke may not appeal to many, but I have to admit I like a cigar that might be a littler harsher than some like.
I don't like a flavored cigar and I pretty much just want a stick that tastes like tobacco.
I look forward to participating here and don't worry about hurting my feelings. I can take it and I don't mind dishing it out on occasion.

If you're on a limited budget may I recommend you do a Newbie Sampler with one of the members who've signed up to do them.

I've done a couple and they are well worth your while. You only pay what you can afford and the person at the other end will give you your money's worth of decent cigars. If you keep a list of what you've tried and send it along they can avoid sending you something you've already tried.

It's a great, inexpensive, way to try some various cigars you might not otherwise try.

Just FYI, I've smoked a few crappy (to me) cigars but to be honest I tend to agree with the philosophy, "Life's too short to smoke crappy cigars"
