Pleasant surprise
I got back to the office after a rather lengthy interview to find a Montecristo White laying on my desk. A coworker told me he picked it up for me to repay me for picking up the check at lunch a few days ago.
It's not what I would usually buy for myself, but I was glad he chose it. Great smoke and hands down the best cigar I have smoked since I picked the hobby back up a couple months ago.
I feel bad a little because I know he overpaid for it, since the only place to pick them up in town is a tobacco shop that had them for $16 a stick. Oh, and I don't remember picking up the check either. :smiley36:
Well I guess now I owe him lunch.

This is cool. It's too bad 'smoke' breaks at work can't extend to cigars (usually).

That was very nice of him.

I agree. We got into that discussion at my favorite B&M the last time I was there.
It was a nice end to a long day though. I had planned on smoking one of my daily smokes, so it was a nice change of pace.

It's usually pretty rewarding when you smoke outside of your comfort zone. I mean I've tried dozens upon dozens of brands and lines. You can stumble upon some real gems. But I personally don't care for Montecristo. Though I have wanted to try their Media Noche.
